Where Am I Going?

Am I not doing something right? Where am I going?

After reading Into the Wild, I wonder if we're all wasting our time. Yeah, McCandless ended up dying, but before he did, he had the experience of a lifetime. Will any of us have that before we die?

I feel like just getting up and disappearing sometimes. Leaving and not telling anyone where or when.

I hate this fucking job. I took a semester off. I feel out of it.

My name is Katie. 23. I just moved from Morro Bay, California down to San Jacinto/Hemet. Riverside county. When I was up North, I worked at a local bookstore, went to school full time, and volunteered as a wildlife rehabber at Pacific Wildlife Care.

I'm currently going to school, working at Hollywood, and rehabbing any animals that I come across that need help. I'm going to school to work in veterinary medicine.

What else... I'm a vegetarian; I believe in animal rights; not very religious; engaged to Allen (whom I've been with for over 7 years - since we were 16!); i have 6 cats, 2 dogs, and a bunny; i can't snap my fingers, whistle, burp, or dance; love to read; started playing guitar again; shy; solitary;
